26 NGOs reveal extent of Israeli authorities’ action against humanitarian response a year since ICJ ruling
As the emergency in Ukraine grows by the hour, Doctors of the World is committed to responding quickly to a rapidly growing health crisis. Our teams are fully mobilized to continue their work inside Ukraine, and along the border in neighboring countries. The entire region is bracing for a major humanitarian catastrophe, with millions of civilians at risk.
More than 1,600 people have been injured, mainly from explosive weapons, although we believe the number is much higher and growing. There are reportedly 1 million internally displaced persons, and more than 660,000 border refugees so far.
DotW has delivered medical material stocks (mainly surgical equipment and trauma care material) to three hospitals in Ukraine to care for the wounded. Yet more will be needed in the coming days as Russia escalates its attack. As we mount our response for Ukraine and its refugees along the border in Poland, Romania and Moldova, you can make a fully tax-deductible donation to support our cause with the people of Ukraine and its refugees.
