Release the Doctors: NGOs call for the release of unlawfully detained health workers in Gaza and the West Bank
Following the collapse of the former Syrian government in December 2024, access to reliable information on the humanitarian needs of communities across the country has become critically important for both governmental and non-governmental actors. In response, Dünya Doktorları (Doctors of the World Turkey) carried out a Multi-Sectoral Needs Assessment at the community level in four key cities: Afrin, al-Bab, Aleppo, and Idlib.
The assessment aims to inform the humanitarian response by evaluating communities’ access to basic services, identifying the barriers that prevent them from meeting their essential needs, and providing an evidence base to guide future humanitarian and development interventions in Syria.
