DOTW Stands With CPME In Calling For The Release Of Turkish Medical Association Leaders

On January 30th, 11 Turkish doctors, members of the Turkish Medical Association, were detained and are now being held in Ankara, Turkey

The doctors’ houses were raided at dawn on Tuesday morning and they were subsequently arrested. The Turkish Medical Association had previously called for an end to Turkey’s military activity in Syria and expressed concern about civilians trapped by the ongoing fighting.
