Andrea has extensive experience in publishing and business development, advertising, strategic partnerships and marketing in the luxury sector and for NYC and Hamptons-based businesses. She is an independent advisor to many brands, from start-ups to small local enterprises, as well as Chief Revenue Officer for The Purist and part of the team at Empire Global Ventures.
She served for many years as Publisher for Manhattan and Beach magazines and has worked at InStyle magazine as Fashion and Accessories Director, formerly Niche Media as Luxury Director (now part of Modern Luxury Group), the Plum Network and Louise Blouin Media (Art + Auction, Modern Painters).
She received her MFA from the New York Academy of Art and BA from Duke University. She grew up in New York City and the Hamptons but has lived abroad and also speaks French, Italian and Portuguese.
She also serves on the advisory committee for the Parrish Art Museum and Solving Kids Cancer and has worked on sponsorships, fund raising and/or served on gala committees for various non profits including The Bob Woodruff Foundation, the VOSS Foundation, the New York Botanical Gardens, Dubin Breast Center, Hour Children, Partnership for Drug Free Kids, Dancers For Good, The Group for the East End, Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation and Hamptons International Film Festival.
She lives in Manhattan with her twin daughters and husband Alexandre Douzet, an entrepreneur, an IronMan athlete and a co-founder of MyOllie.com, all natural pet food.
