Meghan Gallagher, PhD, MPH, is a public health leader with over twenty years of experience leading global research teams, building strategic partnerships, and advancing evidence-based programming in humanitarian and fragile settings across sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. She most recently led Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning for the MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience project with JSI, following 8 years of senior research leadership roles at Save the Children. She holds a PhD from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and an MPH from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, and has published extensively in leading peer-reviewed journals. She teaches as an adjunct professor at the Mailman School of Public Health, serves on the Inter-Agency Working Group on Reproductive Health in Crises Executive Committee, and co-chairs the ICFP Humanitarian Subcommittee. A proficient French speaker, she brings two decades of field-tested relationships across the humanitarian sector to her work connecting evidence, policy, and practice.
