MPox: Doctors of the World International Network takes action against the virus’ resurgence
In partnership with the association Keoogo since 2010, Doctors of the World welcomes young women and their children in a safe space where both can learn and grow. These women have been ostracized by their families and communities after their unwanted pregnancies, many resulting from sexual violence. Our program has helped them gain autonomy and confidence.
We believe in the transformative power of education and skill-building, offering training in teaching, sewing, cooking, and gardening. Adja, one of the remarkable women in our program, shared: “Thanks to this training, I will become autonomous and be able to help others. It will be positive.”
