The best time to educate a lawmaker is when they are a candidate
Maternal mortality is a huge problem in the United States, especially among Black and Indigenous women. Yet many candidates for public office are not making this issue part of their platform. We want to encourage candidates to make this a part of the conversation now, while they are still running for office. You can help us by making it a part of the conversations you are having now, both in your life and online.
