Glenn Fennelly MD, MPH is an expert in pediatric infectious diseases. He is Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Fennelly has worked with various non-governmental organizations supporting infection prevention and treatment programs in less developed countries, including during scale up of PEPFAR-supported treatment for children with HIV in Vietnam between 2006 and 2008.
He has been involved with National Institutes of Health-supported studies to develop vaccines against HIV and tuberculosis, and to improve prevention and treatment of HIV in children for over 20 years. He has co-authored several articles on these studies. Dr. Fennelly received an MD from New Jersey Medical School and a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University.
